Going home to Mississippi then coming back home to Florida

It is always a strange experience when I go back home to visit my entire family on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.  When i get there I miss my home and pets in Florida.  Then it comes time for me to leave Mississippi and I get all emotional.  When I actually am back in Florida, I then miss being in Mississippi and my friends and family there.  I don't think I will ever figure this out.
